I am trying to listen to the words of my sister, who is always there for me. She said we need to trust the universe. That sounds silly and simple, but there is a lot of truth in it. We may not think we are always getting what we want, but I think we get what we need (okay, now I am quoting the Rolling Stones, but it makes me feel better!).
I have always had a place to live, food to eat, clothes to wear. My kids are healthy and educated. What more can I ask for? Some folks may look down on me (and do I really care?) because my daughter had a baby out of wedlock (gasp!!!!!!!!), but my little grandson has brought a lot of love and joy to everyone he is related to. I don't understand how anyone could see that as a bad thing. He is not holding his parents down, if anything, he gives them something more to work for.
This is just an odd time in history. Much of it I blame on the idiots who were in "power" for 8 years. They really screwed things up through their greed and selfishness. I am so glad they are gone. But now we have a lot of work to do, to make our country good again, to raise up the people and help our planet.

Hello!!!!! I am new at this....

Hello! I am really new at this google blogger thing. I really haven't figured it out yet, and am trying to do this without the help of my kids. This means it will take a while!
I started this because I found a lot of contests on the google blogs and thought I should have something here in case I win one so they can find me! Here I am!!!!! In case I don't have my profile set to public, my email is logosoco22@gmail.com.
Maybe someday my blog will be interesting enough so that I can have a giveaway! That would be fun...almost as fun as winning!!!
